Tuition Assistance 

Cornerstone seeks to provide an affordable education for all students regardless of financial background. If you are a DC resident, you must apply for the DC Opportunity Scholarship Program (OSP). To learn more about OSP and Serving Our Children, please visit the website here.

  • If awarded, the OSP scholarship will cover 100% of the student’s tuition and provide a $150 uniform card. The OSP scholarship does not cover aftercare, lunch, sports or any additional programming.

    • The OSP scholarship does not guarantee admission to Cornerstone; each student and family must go through the entire admissions process and be accepted into Cornerstone.

  • If a student does not have an OSP scholarship and needs tuition assistance, you can apply for tuition assistance through Cornerstone using the link below after applying for admissions here. There is a $40 non-refundable application fee. Tuition assistance grants are determined based on household income and expenses. It is important to apply for tuition aid (if you are not eligible for the OSP scholarship) as soon as possible. Though we will work with you to have a tuition level that aligns with your financial situation, families who apply for aid near the beginning of the school year are less likely to receive a generous amount of financial aid. These tuition assistance grants are made possible through generous financial supporters.

    • The application requests that you upload W-2s and the 2020 1040 form from all parents or guardians for the student. For new families, the application must be completed prior to the family interview.

Tuition

2024-2025: 

  • Kindergarten to 8th grade: $11,250

  • 9th to 12th grade: $16,900

Families not on tuition assistance will receive a 10% discount for a second child; a 20% discount for the third child; and a 30% discount for the fourth child and additional children.

Additional Costs: 

  • Application Fee: $50 per student (maximum of $100 per family)

  • Tuition Assistance Application Fee: $40 per family
