Cornerstone Schools of Washington, D.C.

Opportunities to Serve

One of the core components of Cornerstone’s mission is the partnership that exists between parents, families and our community.    Our volunteers, supporters and donors are critical to our mission of  providing an affordable, academically rigorous, and Christ-centered education to low-income, inner-city families of Washington, DC.

There are many opportunities to serve here at Cornerstone.  Our Volunteer Opportunities Page lists ways to help out in person at the school.  Should you wish to support us financially, our Partner Program is a wonderful way to to give to support a specific student, and can include in-person visits to mentor the student.   Partners may elect to be ‘silent’ if they are unable to come in person to Cornerstone.

We also have an extensive Classroom Wish List section which lists current material needs in at Cornerstone.  Our teachers update this list frequently with supplies and other items that will enhance the learning experience of our students.

We invite you to browse these many opportunities to serve, and consider how you might become a part of the Cornerstone family.  If you have any questions, please contact our Development Department at 202.575.0027.
